The Gould Family Philanthropies

The assets of the Gould Family Philanthropies are a collection of parts of two separate private foundations in Canada and three different donor-advised philanthropic funds situated within two communal foundations, one each in Canada and the United States.

The Gould and immediately-related families are represented by an allocations committee that makes grants and other types of donations to charitable organizations in Canada, the United States and Israel totaling approximately $1.7 million dollars annually.

The committee occasionally changes the giving priorities for the combined funds, but 80 per cent of all annual and multi-year contributions are made to charitable organizations that support Jewish people or Israel.
